So proud of my town, Vonore,TN. We have Sequoyah Birthplace. When I was young, there we're 2 Indian burial mounds. TVA brought Tellico Lake. So they dug artifacts out of these burial grounds before they backed up the little T. That's how they found out Sequoyah was born here in Chota. Pease visit Fort Loudon Fort as well. Both places are on 360 in Vonore.
